What is Family Bridge in Teenology?
Family Bridge is AI-mediated support in Teenology: parent and teen each talk to their own coach, and AI helps reframe blame into needs — without forwarding raw messages to the other side (Privacy Shield).
A classic mistake is acting as a messenger between your teen and partner — or demanding the teen "pass along" your words.
Family Bridge:
1. Each person writes to AI privately.
2. AI does not quote the other side verbatim.
3. It helps find one shared next step: a pause, a rule, a calm-time talk.
Good when conflict is stuck but a direct talk would explode now. Not a substitute when there is violence or immediate danger — use SOS and local emergency services.
Steps
- Turn on Family Bridge in Teenology after sign-in.
- Each side describes the situation in their own words.
- Agree on one micro-step for the next 24–48 hours.
Try saying
"Let's not fight through a messenger — try Family Bridge. Each of us talks to AI, then we agree on one calm step."
Avoid
"I'll read what you wrote to the AI" — that breaks Privacy Shield.
